Are We Too Young?
 

While marriage is considered a miracle moment to happen in our life, some marriages are not, specifically child or young marriage. Child marriages in Cambodia are usually due to culture, poverty, and level of education. Some families marry their daughters and sons off to ensure their future and family economic status, yet it has caused countless consequences to both sides of the couple. During the Covid-19, there were many young marriages happening and the burdens they were experiencing were unheard of until now. Our purpose of “Are we too young?” is to illustrate the living condition of child marriages focused mainly on females who shoulder most of the suffering alone. We want to voice those hardships and struggles out on behalf of them and want to make a stop on child marriages as much as possible.
