According to BMJ Global Health, 70% of Cambodian citizens choose to buy medicines from pharmacies on their own or choose private health care services when they are sick.  Consuming plenty of medicines or using medicines without any prescriptions will weaken the ability of the immune system and health. Moreover, the immune system of the body will be easily infected by any viruses.
On the other hand, consuming medicines by following the prescriptions from doctors will effectively treat the patients. Without prescriptions, patients tend to use the medicine in the wrong ways or overused it.
