The sound of bamboo stick hitting the floor, Little Dancer Sen Srey Ya, a 5 grader with the soft pose, dancing along with the classmates’ harmonies. Her talent and love for Khmer traditional dance drive Srey Ya to put more effort into practicing her dance in hope of becoming a professional dancer, to ease the her mother’s financial status. The purpose of our project is to show the process of basic Khmer traditional dance and to encourage parents cultivate their children’s mindset to embrace Khmer art and conserve for the next generation.
